Not all spas have an injector. Instead, they inject ozone via a jet. Here are the signs that the ozone has not entered the water correctly:

Your spa water becomes cloudy and gives off odours. (This is a sign of a faulty ozonator; the non-return valve needs replacing and/or the injector is blocked). The ozone bubbles are an abnormal size.
